Dearest Friends of The Tashi Lhunpo Foundation, We wish you all a wonderful holiday season and, together, look forward to the coming New Year. Through your support this past year, the Tashi Lhunpo Foundation made significant contributions to the Monastic School projects and continued efforts to finish the State-of-the-Art Library at the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery. As we gaze into the coming New Year 2022, we see enormous possibilities of renewed hope! If you have already made a gift during these last days of the year, we are deeply grateful. If you have not yet had a chance to make a donation, please consider us! Your help will allow us to continue supporting the important work at the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in Bylakuppe, India. In 2022, our contributions will go toward:Teachers: Competitive salaries and compensation as well as comfortable lodging within the Monastery so qualified teachers can be recruited and retained. Maintenance Expenses: Ongoing overhead expenses and for the various educational activities so that the yearly educational programs can continue without interruption due to lack of funding. Library Construction Debt: In 2019, the final phase of the State-of-Art Library was completed. However, there was a deficit of $100,000 that was left unpaid. We seek to eliminate this liability so that we can move forward and focus on the Monastery’s current needs.
