Still remember some of your favorite school teachers while growing up? Perhaps those who taught you valuable skills that created tremendous impact throughout your life? Indeed the importance of the role that teachers play in our lives cannot be overemphasized. Knowing this as adults, we do everything that can help our children have memorable and positive experiences especially during their critical years growing up. In fact, we would do it for all children in our global community. Thank you for our New Beginning One very important mission of the Tashi Lhunpo Foundation is to support the Monastic school of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in India to provide quality education to the young aspiring monks who are unable to support themselves. Under the new tutelage of the Venerable Abbot Zeekgyab Rinpoche, the school’s education program has progressed immensely with the establishment of a modern educational curriculum provided by qualified teachers. With your help in covering the teacher salaries over the past couple of years, the school has been able to start and create different educational programs and co-curricular activities to give a holistic education to the students. Through the efforts of the qualified teachers, all these programs made possible only by your support, created opportunities and platforms for the monk students to shine, given their choice of activities and interests. However, their need for ongoing support is undeniable. We know you have our back! We want to thank you for your ongoing support. You continue to make a difference in the lives of the student monks. Thanks to your support, the monastery is able to meet the demands of the ever-increasing costs of running a school. We still have a lot of work to do and knowing that you have our back, we are not afraid to roll up our sleeves and work for the continued success of the future lives of the young monks who depend on us for their daily and future needs.
