OUR GOAL

The Tashi Lhunpo Foundation's mission is to support the global vision of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, toward building a better world. We are committed to raising community awareness about the significance of Tibet's ancient wisdom, traditions and legacy. The Tashi Lhunpo Monastery needs your support in providing for the educational needs of the young monks in order to fulfill their monumental work of building a compassionate world.

AS WE LEARN TO HEAL OURSELVES, WE ALSO HEAL THE WORLD!

We are infinitely grateful for your support and generosity in helping us achieve our goal for this amazing fundraising event.

Your support allows us to create ripples of betterment in our outer world through the transformation of our inner world. Your generosity contributes to nourishing a world that is in dire need of attention.

Omni Wellness has designed an immersive experience to treat your senses through the ancient Vedic healing arts. Join us to savor curated sound, aroma, sight, touch, and taste. Our sensory impressions determine the quality of our thoughts and emotions. If you are looking for greater physical and emotional well-being, expose your senses to Omni's 3 pillars of health: nourishment, meditation, and movement! In this Healing Arts immersive experience, you will awaken your power of transformation and progress to a higher level of manifestation through a natural energy source, your senses. Sumita Vasudeva, Founder of Omni Wellness, has curated this sensory immersion through the ancient lifestyle science of Ayurveda. This event is designed to showcase and reveal this knowledge of life as summer transitions to fall.

Nourish through Aroma and Touch

Aroma creates a domino effect of neurophysiological and psychological responses, and greatly affects our state of being. Healing Artist Sumita will use Ayurvedic marma therapy to balance/pacify the season’s transitional energetics. Sumita Vasudeva is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist who helps you enhance energy, reduce stress, and discover peace. Join her online well-being community to benefit from her 20+ years of Ayurvedic wisdom. Start free at www.omniwellness.org

Nourish through Taste

Nature, in her infinite wisdom, grows foods that act as an antidote to the season. Healing Artist Sonali will cater a late summer and early fall offering for our nourishment. Sonali Patwardhan of Adding Spice to Life is a trained chef who has worked at the Taj, a leading hotel chain from India, known for its food and restaurants. Over the past 25 years, she has taught classes in a variety of international culinary cuisines, using local, fresh, organic produce and whole foods. You can connect with Sonali at www.addingspicetolife.com

Move through Sound and Sight

Movement antidotes the qualities of the season. Healing Artist Kavita will perform Bharatanatyam dance to depict the transition between summer and fall. Kavita Thirumalai continues to take workshops and master classes with Smt. Bragha Bessell. She has four solo thematic dance productions to her credit. She was recently nominated for the IZZIES award for her work "Anandam.” She co-curates an annual dance festival through IDIA, whose vision is to bring highly talented artists to the Bay Area to perform, inform, and educate. She can be reached at kavita@gmail.com

Meditate through Sound and Sight

Music has been prescribed as a form of meditation called Nada-Yoga, which translates to “union through sound." Healing Artist Lydia will create a unique mood or atmosphere while surrounded by Buddhist Thangkas depicting seasonal transition colors and energetics. Lydia Hwang is a vibrational healer, using sound, color, and flower essences in her healing practice, sound baths, and retreats. Her main healing tools are gong chimes tuned to specific frequencies, monochord with healing overtones, and tuning forks. Learn more at www.aspirasound.com
