The Tashi Lhunpo Foundation, whose patron is His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama (HHDL), respects and supports the unique Tibetan Buddhist scholarly lineage and culture and is committed to supporting Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in exile, Bylakuppe, India, to re-establish itself to its former greatness, in anticipation of the return of His Holiness The Panchen Lama.
The Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, under the leadership of Abbot Zeekgyab Rinpoche, is hard at work fulfilling its aspirations and goals, which include the preservation of Buddhism and Tibetan heritage, the education and caring of the monks, and community outreach (from international teachings, scientific research and studies to local distribution of food during Covid 19 lockdown). We support these noble efforts and seek to help build world awareness through the understanding of the significance of Tibet’s ancient wisdom and traditions.
